We had two competitors in. One in the men's and one in the womans.Marc Willers sadly missed out on getting into the final while Sarah Walker came agonisingly close, but ultimately finished just out of the medals in the women's BMX final in Beijing.
The New Zealander finished fourth by just .13 of a second in a spectacular final on a sweltering hot morning at Lao Shan BMX stadium.

DAMN! Oh well, at least they ca qualify for the next oplympics. I hate how sometimes there is only one chance. At least Sarah Ulmer snatched hers.

Did you know that it is the first time BMX has been at the Olympics.
Well there was a bit of discusion whether she would go to these Olympics.
We did pretty good for such a small country though....
