Tom Ashley Wins New Zealand's Third Gold!

New Zealand windsurfer Tom Ashley has won New Zealand's third gold of the Beijing Olympics in the RS-X discipline.
Starting the race in third position overall, Ashley needed to finish in front of Britain's Nick Dempsey and France's Julian Bontemps to claim the gold.

I watched the windsurfing, and even though it was great... it was so boring! You just sit there, and they move at a snails pace, slow... slow... and then the commentators ramble on, and there is no "OH MY GOSH THEY ARE SO CLOSE, CAN THEY TASTE THE FINISH LINE, IT IS SUCH AN AWESOME FINISH..." But still. Another to add to our proud collection.
